As a veteran of over 30 years in the restaurant industry with experiences in five star rated restaurants in Saint Tropez, London and Los Angeles, it has always been a dream of mine to open my own bistro. I want to bring a piece of my birthplace in France to my home in San Pedro.

COMPAGNON Wine Bistro recreates the casual bistros that I knew growing up in the south of France. We want our food to taste like it came from my grandmother’s kitchen. Our menu is classic and simple, reflecting authentic bistro dishes from the various regions in France. As a traditional bistro, we must use the freshest seasonal produce and take advantage of locally raised meats, poultry and fish.

Same goes for our wine selection, emphasizing a wide variety of organic, biodynamic wines, vins naturels, French and Californian. The list offers 60 wines priced mostly between $30-$90, as well as a selection of west coast craft beers on tap to complement our cuisine.

Loni, an esthetician and I, live in San Pedro and you might just see me early in the morning catch a wave at some of the local spots or on my paddle board in the coves.

At COMPAGNON Wine Bistro, our goal is that our cuisine, service and ambiance will transport our guests to some great bistro in France.
